Running a successful company goes beyond satisfying customers or shareholders. It also incorporates employees and the community. As an employer, we have a part to play in our community—we provide employment and, in turn, our employees improve the overall well being of the communities in which they live.

However, as a corporation and as individuals, we strive to do much more. Helping improve and strengthen our communities enhances the fabric of our society and enriches all our lives. That is why Tredegar supports community groups and charities in many of the locations where we operate, not just in monetary donations but also by our employees donating their time and energy in support of community groups.

For example, our employees in one of our US locations organize and are involved in Community Giving Week. Community Giving Week is a series of company-sponsored events that will highlight the work of the local chapter of the United Way organization and encourage employee support of this not-for-profit organization through involvement and donations. The great work the United Way does through its programs includes support of children at risk, fighting homelessness and providing support for older adults.
